Svetlana Kuznetsova reaches U.S. Open final .

NEW YORK, Sep 7 - Svetlana Kuznetsova bounced back from a horrid start for a 3-6, 6-1, 6-1 victory over fellow Russian Anna Chakvetadze in the U.S. Open semifinals on Friday.

The fourth seeded Kuznetsova dominated the final two sets, winning 12 of the final 13 games to advance to her second career Grand Slam final. She was the first Russian woman to win the U.S. Open in 2004.

Kuznetsova will face the winner of the other semifinal match between top-ranked Justine Henin of Belgium and American Venus Williams in the final on Saturday night.
