Roddick, Hewitt to miss Madrid Masters because of injuries

Andy Roddick and Lleyton Hewitt will miss next week's Madrid Masters because of leg injuries.

The fifth-ranked Roddick withdrew because of a knee injury, organizers said Saturday. The American also pulled out of the Thailand Open last month after hurting his foot in practice.

Hewitt, a two-time Grand Slam champion who is ranked 19th, has an ankle injury.
